Event Guide for the Pokémon Go Roggenrola Community Day

You can find all the information you need about this month’s Community Day event here.

The September Community Day for Pokémon Go is dedicated to Roggenrola, a rock-type Pokémon from the Unova region in Pokémon Black and White. As is customary on Community Days, the highlighted Pokémon will hatch in enormous quantities, have a higher chance of becoming Shiny, and when it evolves, it will learn a unique move.

The Roggenrola Community Day for Pokemon Go is scheduled for September 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. local time.

Where Can I Get A Shiny Roggenrola?

A shiny Roggenrola is more likely to appear during the event as a result of increased Roggenrola spawn rates. There is no way to guarantee that one will show up, but if you light an incense, more Roggenrola will sprout in the area surrounding you, increasing your chances of finding one. You’ll ultimately come upon a shiny Roggenrola if you persist.

Where does Roggenrola’s Evolution Learn a Community Day Move?

On September 18 between 2 and 10 o’clock in your local time, Roggenrola can evolve into Gigalith and learn the charged attack Meteor Beam. If you don’t manage to evolve it during this time, you should be able to do so to obtain Meteor Beam during a Community Day weekend event in December. You can use an Elite TM to receive the move if you don’t want to wait.

How does Gigalith Fare in Fights?

Gigalith is a potent rock-type attacker in PvE content like raids and gyms. It falls short of a number of unique Pokémon, including Legendaries, Shadows, Mega Evolutions, and other rock-type Pokémon with storied moves.

You should absolutely purchase a Gigalith while you have the chance because it will be simple to obtain one and power it up because of the Community Day. PvP doesn’t really serve Gigalith’s purposes. Rock-type Pokémon are prone to many weaknesses, and Meteor Beam offers little to improve one’s metaposition.

In Pokemon Go, there are two ways to evolve Boldore. The initial method involves giving it 200 Roggenrola candies. Alternatively, if you acquire Boldore through a trade with another player, you can evolve it without paying any candy.

Active Bonuses During September’s Community Day

During September’s Community Day, a few in-game perks will also be active in addition to higher Roggenrola spawns. You can capture twice as many Pokemon and incubator-placed eggs will hatch at a quarter of their normal rate during the core event hours (2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time). Additionally, instead of lasting the standard amount of time, lure modules and incense will last for three hours.

As previously announced, bonus Boldore raids will continue in gyms from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time after the event itself concludes. For 30 minutes after you finish each of these raids, there will be more Roggenrola spawns nearby the host gym.

Along with the Aforesaid Benefits, Roggenrola Community Day has the Following Advantages:

When incubated during the event period, a quarter of an egg will hatch. Catching Pokémon doubles the sweets, and the incense lasts for three hours. From 2 to 10 o’clock, two Special Trades are permitted. For three hours, there is a doubled chance to obtain Candy XL Lure Modules. Trades demand 50 percent less Stardust

Having said that, you should unquestionably incubate any eggs you may have throughout the event, light some incense, and gather some rogenrola candies.

If you don’t trade it first, Boldore needs 200 candies to evolve, so it’s a good idea to stock up. This month in Pokemon Go, there are still a tonne of other activities taking place. The Mega Aggron and two additional Ultra Beasts, Kartana [In the Northern Hemisphere] and Celesteela, have been added to the game as part of the Test Your Mettle event, which is running through September 21. [In the Southern Hemisphere].
